Meet Braden Mitchell, the dedicated and hardworking head of receiving at Fort Thompson Sporting Goods. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring every product is in perfect condition, Braden plays a vital role in keeping our shelves stocked and ready for customers. His passion for the outdoors and exceptional organizational skills make him an integral part of the Fort Thompson team. Whether it's processing new arrivals or coordinating with suppliers, Braden is always on top of the game, ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes.
 
  1. What’s your name and what do you do at Fort Thompson Sporting Goods?

Brayden Mitchell and I am the Head of Receiving 

  1. How long have you been with the company?

Since March 2020, so almost 5 years!

  1. What’s your favorite part of working at Fort Thompson?

Getting to meet new people and traveling to the shows to get products. 

  1. What’s your favorite outdoor activity?

My favorite outdoor activity is backpacking or hiking in Colorado

  1. Do you have a favorite piece of gear or product we carry? If so, what is it and why do you love it?

I love our Turtlebox Speakers. They are the best of the best. 

  1. What’s one tip you’d give to someone new to hunting or the outdoors?

Pack light; you never need as much stuff as you think you do.

  1. What’s your most memorable outdoor experience?

Peaking my first 14’er in Colorado, for sure!

  1. If you could go on an outdoor adventure anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Ooh, I’d like to hike in Hawaii!

  1. What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? (Fun fact or hidden talent)

I can solve a Rubik's Cube in under 2 minutes.

  1. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Hanging out with my wife and dogs or watching the Razorbacks.
