Hornady Superformance 300 Winchester Magnum 180 Grain SST ammunition combines increased velocity with the proven terminal performance of Hornady’s SST hunting bullet. Superformance uses proprietary propellants designed to increase velocity by up to 200 fps compared with conventional ammunition without increasing chamber pressure or felt recoil.
The 180 grain SST features a sharp polymer tip and aerodynamic profile for efficient downrange performance. Upon impact, the tip helps initiate expansion, while the reinforced core and jacket promote controlled expansion and weight retention. Hornady’s InterLock ring mechanically locks the core and jacket together to help maintain bullet integrity during expansion.
